August

These card were inspired by a card I had seen at the Indigo Blu New Premises Open Day.  Bird is from Indigo Blu.  Have proved very useful for male birthdays.

July

I did not take these pictures with my own camera and so ended up with dates on the images, a personal bug bear of mine.  The teenager these cards were made for are twins.  I like these images from Dimension Fourth (now Dimension stamps).  These stamps are being discontinued and were, last I looked in the sale/discount bin on that website.

June

Well I was able to satisfy the criteria for two swaps with this card.  The monthly Joanna Sheen Forum Card Swap (Theme butterflies or dragonflies) and a monthly private swap (theme make a card using this stamp).

The stamp is from Imagination Crafts.  Another tone on tone card.  The background paper panel is from Helidot - I like the small patterns you get in the packs of paper.  The packs come in different colours, but the patterns in the pack are the same whatever colour you choose.

May's Card

A special card for a friend at work - pram and bottle from Dimension Stamps and Letters from the Clarity Letter box set. I even used some peel-offs which I have not done for a while. Pink buttons also worked well. Coloured in the bottle and pram with paper piecing and promarkers.

Liked the effect of the card I did last month for a swap - regretted giving it away. So I had a go at a different image. Could not get the card right for the tile topper, so I framed it instead. Stamps are all from Clarity. Painted the frame of a boot sale photo frame.

Dreamweaver

Card inspired by an idea I saw demonstrated by Lynell Harlow in her recent appearance on Create and Craft. Involved the use of the Dreamweaver square grid stencil.

Background stencil/mask is from Crafter's Workshop and has been overpainted with white gesso. The fauna stamp is from Inkylicious.

Daisy Stamp from Hobby Art Ltd

Inspired by this card that I saw on the Hobby Art stand at Harrogate - I later found out it was made by Georgina Sweetenham.

I made this card.

I cut out and embossed my spellbinder shapes before inking them, to produce the white line borders. I must have used a smaller card blank than the original card, as I have less of the daisies showing in my apeture.
